The company is making significant investment with the opening of its largest flagship showroom located in Shanghai’s Pudong district. Glass-clad and ultra-modern, Aston Martin’s new Pudong dealership currently displays 18 vehicles, and includes a café and lounge, merchandise and sales areas, a fully equipped garage, and audio/visual displays by brands such as Jaeger-LeCoultre and Bang & Olufsen. The new showroom sets the standard for all luxury vehicle showrooms around Asia and what visitors can expect. Shanghai’s Aston Martin comes with a spectacular show of the company’s model line-up, which are carefully setup, as pieces of sculpture arranged in a gallery-style space, which is another world compared to traditional showrooms. Here can find the One-77 supercar, Vantage range, beautiful DB9, new Virage and more. Aston Martin came to the Chinese market in 2008 and now has a number of dealerships in Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai and Shenzhen. A new showroom will open up in Chongqing, Ordos and Shenyang with additional expansion planned for 2012. Asian sales increased by 103 percent in 2011.
