The Dior Shanghai Blue

If you missed the chance to pick up the Dior Shanghai Blue phone in May, you’ll have another chance.

A while back Dior launched a line of mobile phones targeting the ultra-luxury fashionistas. Celebrating the reopening of the Dior Shanghai store this spring, Dior offered a limited edition Dior phone as part of its Blue collection launch.

Exquisitely handcrafted and designed in France, the slimline phone features “jewel-like finishing and stylistic references.” The body of the phone is made of hand-chiselled pure sapphire crystal. The phone features a touchscreen display, camera, quad band connectivity and a novel, mini-phone extender called My Dior. About the size of a USB key, My Dior, which is connected wirelessly by bluetooth, is meant to clip onto the outside of a bag for easy access and allows the user to answer or make calls while the main phone is hidden away.
